We all have set backs and frustrations when it comes to our hair care.

My main frustration is that my scalp is super sensitive to chemicals which means I really struggle to find products for my hair. In short I do not use any off the shelf products but instead I make everything myself!

It is cheaper but I am seriously struggling with moisture since I had my hair straightened back in April 2017…..I really wish I never did it but it is what it is.

So this morning I was so frustrated with the texture of my hair and the knots and tangle I took a brush to my hair and yanked out every single knot or tangle.

I would say I clearly lost it.

Anyway now that I have done that I will probable condition my hair soon and comb it with conditioner to try and repair some of the damage I will be doing a henna treatments at some point.

So these are the recipes I will be trying over the course of time…I might do them all this week, I might do them 1ce a week, we’ll see.

  1. Avocado DC
    1. 1 avocado
    2. 1/2 banana
    3. 1/2 can coconut milk
    4. 1/4 cup honey
    5. 1 egg or 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  2. Banana DC
    1. 1 large overripe banana (sliced) 
    2. 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
    3. 2 tbsp pure vegetable glycerin
    4. 2 tbsp pure honey
  3. Olive Oil and Honey with heat (I’ll probably do this one at the gym and sit in the steam room)

If I try anything else I will let y’all know how it does.
